Role & responsibilities
As a Telecom Field Engineer, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Installation, commissioning, and integration of Ribbon Communication routers at Telecom sites
- Contacting the site technician for site access, confirmation of the RFI, and determining the availability of Installation materials.
- Laying power/grounding cable to DCDB/Power plant, tapping the DCDB MCB, labelling the DCDB MCB, and Power on IP Network/Optical Network Equipment.
- Patch cable, Network cable Routing, labelling, and connecting to the Network ports according to the Network Plan
- Conduct site acceptance checks (AT), punch point clearances, and handover of balance materials to the customer.
- Submitting installation and commissioning reports in an android application according to guidelines and submitting of installation photos.
There will be 2 months of real-time training at telecommunication sites.
The job involves traveling and reaching out to sites.
As per project requirements, the candidate should be able to work flexible hours.
