Thermal System Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement thermal management systems for lithium-ion batteries, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and optimize energy storage solutions, focusing on quality, reliability, and performance.
• Conduct simulation-based analysis to evaluate thermal behavior under various operating conditions and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols throughout the product development lifecycle by conducting thorough risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
• Provide technical guidance on thermal system design, testing, and validation to ensure optimal system performance.

Job Requirements :

• Strong understanding of CFD modeling tools (e.g., ANSYS) for simulating heat transfer phenomena in complex systems.
• Experience working with battery manufacturers or suppliers; knowledge of industry standards such as UL2271/IEC62134 is desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
