Responsibilities:
  • Analyze the information collected to identify risks that are specific to the organization that may be brought about by undertaking the business/assignment for certain commercial enterprises or doing certain work.
  • Understanding and staying current with key requirements of the firm and the regulator s risk management rules and policies.
  • Understand requestors preference and utilize guidelines/process documents to respond on inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Assist in tracking the Firm s various business arrangements with vendors.
  • Identify whether the contracting entity is a current client (Audit/ attest or non-attest) of the Firm and whether the relationship has been used regularly.
  • Monitor each email received in the Business Relationships inbox to determine if further action is required.
  • Assist in evaluating Business relationships checks for new/existing relationships our firm enters with a client.
  • Responding to conflict check inquiries that are received to the Business Relationships mailbox from GTUS engagement teams and GTIL Member firms.
  • Formatting and performing research on the firm s vendor report on a quarterly basis.
  • Performing monthly reconciliations on various reports received from Internal client serving teams to update the Business/Financial relationship database.
  • Work on Ad hoc assignments as needed
  • Act as a liaison between the engagement teams; other members of the team; US stakeholders and various functional teams within the firm.
  • Coordinate with the team to ensure that results are sent out in a timely manner.
  • Continuously assess and enhance internal processes related to the management of Business relationships, implementing improvements to process documents and KPIs
  • Be cross trained to assist other independence functions (as needed) at INDUS
  • Participate in meetings and discussions on Collaboration Center performance, processes and implement best practices.
  • Bachelor/Post Graduation degree along with –
  • Possess good internet research skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills. Must be able to communicate with contacts from around the globe and multi-task various projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise sound and balances judgment.
  • Ability to follow detailed written instructions.
  • Ability to work under short deadlines and prioritize workload.
  • Dedication to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work off-hours, if needed including some holidays
  • Computer proficient. Must have intermediate skills with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
  • Reporting skills – Work with lead/senior to help in reporting and presenting data.
