Job description
Implement, maintain and support hybrid network environment comprises of global on-prem datacenters and public cloud (GCP & Azure).
Collaborate with global IT teams on implementations, capacity planning and administration of next generation technologies.
Partner with matrixed IT delivery organizations (e.g. PMO) to deliver project, sub-project and production support activities.
Monitor and verify availability of all Network and related services. Ensure any available patches and mitigation for vulnerabilities have been applied.
Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time and Audit systems and assess their outcomes.
Produce and update Network performance reports and design document for IT operations team.
Willing to work off-hours and weekends as needed.
Preferred Skills/Experience: –
Solid understanding and direct hands-on experience with SDWAN technologies, Juniper switches, Palo Alto, HP Aruba Wireless, Infoblox (DNS/DHCP) and out-of-band console server.
In-depth understanding of communication & routing protocols.
Working knowledge of cloud network services like GCP Network connectivity center including dynamic routing, VPC peering, cloud DNS, cloud nat, load balancers, native firewall, private service connect etc.
Monitor network performance and integrity.
Knowledge of distributed applications and interoperability.
Knowledge in Network Automation will be preferred.
Basic understanding of Zero trust concept will be an added advantage.
Familiarity with Service-Now ticketing system.
