Your Role and Responsibilities
As a recruiter at IBM Consulting , you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet the staffing needs of the organization. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers and department heads to understand their staffing requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies to identify and engage qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and define job requirements and specifications.
  • Conduct job analysis to determine essential skills, experience, and qualifications for each position.
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates through various channels such as job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment to continuously improve sourcing and hiring processes.
  • Proactively source candidates through online job postings, networking events, job fairs, and recruitment agencies.
  • Review resumes, screen candidates, and conduct initial interviews to assess qualifications and fit for the position.
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and efficient interview process.
  • Evaluate candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit with the organization and provide feedback to hiring managers.
  • Extend job offers to successful candidates and negotiate terms and conditions of employment.
  • Provide necessary information and support to new hires to facilitate their integration into the organization.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate information, recruitment activities, and hiring metrics using applicant tracking systems

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Proven experience as a recruiter or in a similar role, preferably in IT sector
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices.
  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Good understanding of the industry or sector in which they are recruiting, including trends, market conditions, and competitor analysis.
  • Effectively targeting candidates and providing valuable insights to hiring managers.
