Role & responsibilities

As a Telecom Field Engineer, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Installation, commissioning, and integration of Ribbon Communication routers at Telecom sites
  • Contacting the site technician for site access, confirmation of the RFI, and determining the availability of Installation materials.
  • Laying power/grounding cable to DCDB/Power plant, tapping the DCDB MCB, labelling the DCDB MCB, and Power on IP Network/Optical Network Equipment.
  • Patch cable, Network cable Routing, labelling, and connecting to the Network ports according to the Network Plan
  • Conduct site acceptance checks (AT), punch point clearances, and handover of balance materials to the customer.
  • Submitting installation and commissioning reports in an android application according to guidelines and submitting of installation photos.

There will be 2 months of real-time training at telecommunication sites.

The job involves traveling and reaching out to sites.

As per project requirements, the candidate should be able to work flexible hours.
